Tutor Supervisor
Rocío is a Tutor Supervisor for Columbia University's Tutoring and Learning Center. Rocío trains, mentors and supervises TLC's tutors, who attend Columbia University and it's affiliates, to ensure they provide excellent tutoring services to the TLC partner High Schools located within the Harlem and Morningside Heights neighborhoods.
Rocío has 6 years of teaching experience in mathematics and technology for grades 6-12 in both suburban and urban settings. She holds an M.A. as an Educational Technology Specialist from Teachers' College, Columbia University, an M.A. in Mathematics Education 7-12 from the City College of New York, and a B.S. in Mathematics from The College of Mount Saint Vincent. She is a native of Washington Heights in New York City, currently lives in the Bronx and is bilingual in English and Spanish.
